Hometap President Sarah Dekin Honored in HousingWire's Prestigious 'Women of Influence' List
August 1, 2023
We are very excited to celebrate Hometap President and COO Sarah Dekin, who was honored today in HousingWire's Women of Influence listing, a highly-respected program in its fourteenth year that highlights leaders throughout the housing ecosystem.
For the 2023 edition, the magazine's committee took a holistic approach to selection, including efforts around women mentoring women, volunteering commitments, and board participation that takes housing forward. This year's cohort likewise demonstrates the growing diversity of critical roles women now play in companies of all sizes and shapes around our industry.
“HousingWire's Women of Influence award is one of the housing industry’s most prestigious honors, recognizing the most powerful and transformative leaders in the housing economy,” said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. “HousingWire is proud to recognize such a distinguished group of female executives whose commitment to excellence and leadership is helping redefine what success looks like in housing.”
Sarah joined Hometap in 2017, in its earliest days, following senior marketing and operational roles with several noteworthy brands (many of them beginning, like Hometap, as startups). She has since become COO before being named President earlier this year, and her leadership guides strategy, development and team building across Hometap's sales, marketing and product functions. We couldn't think of a better fit for the spirit of this year's listing.
Congratulations Sarah!
The honor comes on the back of several earlier wins for Hometap in HousingWire programs this year, most recently Rachel Keohan's Marketing Leaders nod.
